The Whirlwind SPC83 Passive Microphone Splitter provides an ideal, scalable microphone splitting solution for permanent installation applications. Each unit delivers 8 channels of microphone-level distribution in just 1U of rack space, with a depth of 7.5 inches including the rear cable management bar.

All connections are made via the included removable Phoenix-style terminal blocks. The isolated outputs do not pass phantom power, so if phantom power is required, the direct output must be connected. The rear panel features a bank of ground lift DIP switches to eliminate hum caused by ground loops.
