The CAB DRIVER is a speaker component tester. It allows users to send pink noise to specific speaker components via NL8, NL4, and 1/4" TS interfaces through button selection, serving testing purposes.

The pink noise level can be adjusted according to the type of driver being tested: woofers, mid-range drivers, or high-frequency compression drivers. It also features an XLR line-level output for testing active speaker systems.

A DC resistance test button delivers a 5V DC signal to the tested component to check cone movement, helping identify polarity errors in speakers or wiring. The DC resistance test button is accompanied by three LED indicators showing 4, 8, and 16 ohms respectively. This helps detect damaged drivers not visible within enclosures or verify series/parallel configurations in multi-driver cabinets.

The CAB DRIVER operates on four AA batteries or an external 6V DC power supply (transformer not included).
